Senior Advisor / Former CEO & Board member ESPL (eSports Players League) / Singapore Sports Hub

Having led the visioning, research for desired outcomes, PPP tender, startup, operations, and programming for the Singapore Sports Hub integrated sports, entertainment, lifestyle mixed use project, Jin Teik is advising the business model, strategic partnership, and commercial sponsorship for ESPL, including the planning of its annual eSports festival to be held in Singapore.  To ensure an effective community engagement, Jin Teik will share his strategic initiative for an eSports Hub in Singapore.

As a former Olympian (1984 Los Angeles) and Asian Games medalist, Jin Teik’s illustrious 30-year professional career spanned both private and public sectors in various industries and resided in USA, China, and Singapore. He is a trusted, people-centric senior executive who specializes in business turnaround, mega project ideation-cum- startup, and place making in mixed use developments.
In Sports, he served as CEO & Board Member and COO, Singapore Sports Hub; CEO, Singapore Sports Council; Advisor, Asics Asia Pte Ltd. He led the national events portfolio which helped Singapore win Gold medal for Sport City Award @International Sports Event Management Awards 2010 and runners up for Ultimate Sports City @Sport Accord Convention 2010. He also delivered a milestone achievement of 210 events, 3 million event attendees, and over 15 million total foot fall at Sports Hub in 2018.
