Simon Benson is a specialist Virtual Reality and Immersive Technology consultant. With over 25 years’ experience of commercial immersive technology development, including military R&D, motorsports simulation and consumer entertainment, Simon is a rare find outside of Silicon Valley.

Career highlights include creating the world’s first professional Formula 1 simulator, leading multi-million selling AAA game projects such as the MotorStorm franchise, pioneering stereoscopic gaming on PlayStation 3 and being a founder member of the PlayStation VR project.  Previously, he held the role of Director of PlayStation's Immersive Technology Group and is cited as inventor on over 50 patents.
