The new €10 million LVL gaming centre is due to open near Checkpoint Charlie and will feature a competition arena, gaming lounge, burger restaurant, bar and cinema hall, as well as a television studio.

It can accommodate up to 500 people at the same time and organisers expect 250,000 visitors a year to come through the doors.

It is expected to host 130 live events annually, setting up a model for future esports hubs around the world.

The two-floor venue will be host to the G2 Esports team.
