
Tom Lynch
Director of Business Development, Europe ASM GlobalTom Lynch is Director of Business Development for ASM Global, the company formed by the merger of AEG Facilities and SMG; global leaders in venue and event strategy, management and services. Tom heads up business development in Europe, leading on new venue development and mobilisation, as well as developing partnerships and M&A strategy for new and existing markets.
Since joining ASM Global, Tom has overseen the development and mobilisation of new-build arenas in the UK and Europe, as well as managing existing venue renovations and commercial initiatives across ASM’s 20-strong European venue portfolio of arenas, stadiums, theatres and convention centres. He continues to drive the group towards ambitious venue developments in key European markets, driving ASM Global’s gold standard on customer experience, through inspiration, innovation and sustainability in venues and events.
Tom joined ASM in 2015, following a career dedicated to live events, hospitality and the international exhibitions and conferences market. Previous roles included senior management positions within event agencies and media businesses including UBM Plc and Mondiale Publishing; launching and managing a portfolio of live event brands across a number of different sectors. He also spent time as Commercial Director for management consulting firm CGA Strategy, working with hospitality operators to develop growth strategies for their brands.
